Note: Skip the next step when assigning neither "Camera Function" nor "System Function". 2. Enter a desired camera or system function number with the numeric buttons. The entered number will appear on the LCD for a few seconds. Press the A, B or top button for two seconds. • The menu function will be assigned to the button you pressed. • "Assign" message will appear for a few seconds, as shown in the illustration. Joystick Function Buttons
Joystick button functions are assignable to the A, B, or top
button on the 3D joystick unit. (Refer to p. 68 to 72 for each
function.)
1. Perform Step 1 to 3 in “To Assign Menu Functions to
Function Buttons”. (Refer to p. 52.)
Note:
Skip the next step when assigning neither
“Camera Function” nor “System Function”.

Enter a desired camera or system function number with
the numeric buttons. The entered number will appear
on the LCD for a few seconds.
Notes:
• The illustration is an example in which Camera
Function Number 1 is pressed.
• Refer to the operating instruction of camera for
details on camera function.
• Refer to the operating instruction of system unit for
details on system function.

Press the A, B or top button for two seconds.
• The menu function will be assigned to the button
you pressed.
