Setting Focus

Setting Focus Images can be captured with the focus determined automatically using auto focus. You may over-ride the auto focus and specify [ ] macro or [ ] infinity. 1. Rotate the mode dial to , , , , or . 2. Press the Power switch to turn on the power. 3. Press the MENU button, then use the four-way controller (X) to select the [Mode2] menu. „ In the mode, press the MENU button. 4. Use the four-way controller (T) to select [Focus], then press the button. 5. Use the four-way controller (ST) to select the desired focus setting, then press the button. 6. To exit the menu, press the MENU button. 7. Compose your scene and press the shutter release button. (Auto focus) Select auto focus for most occasions when you want the camera to automatically determine the focus setting. Using auto focus any object at a range of focus is 50 cm or greater can be in focus. Macro Select macro to capture close-up images. When the lens is zoomed to its widest position you may focus objects as close as 6 cm.When the lens is zoomed to its telephoto position (3x zoom) you may focus objects as close as 35 cm.
