Deleting Images/Movie Clips Use this function to delete one or all images/movie clips stored in the internal memory or SD memory card. Please note that the deleted images or movie clips cannot be recovered. Exercise caution before deleting a file. „ To delete the latest single image/movie clip 1. Rotate the mode dial to , , , , , or and turn your camera on by pressing the Power switch. 2. Press the button. When the delete message appears, use the four-way controller (ST) to select [OK], then press the button to delete the last image or movie clip. „ If you wish to cancel the deletion, select [Cancel]. Delete OK Cancel OK : „ To delete image/movie clip by preference 1. Rotate the mode dial to , , , , , or and turn your camera on by pressing the Power switch. 2. Press the button. „ The last recorded image appears on the LCD monitor, which can also be deleted directly by pressing the button. 3. Use the four-way controller (WX) to select the image you want to delete. 4. Press the MENU button, then confirm [Delete] is selected and press the button. 5. Use the four-way controller (ST) to select [This Image] or [Delete All] by your preference, then press the button. 6. When the delete message appears, use the four-way controller (ST) to select [OK], then press the button to confirm the deletion. „ If you wish to cancel the deletion, select [Cancel]. Deleting Images/Movie Clips
Use this function to delete one or all images/movie clips stored in the internal memory or SD
memory card.
Please note that the deleted images or movie clips cannot be recovered. Exercise caution before deleting a file.
To delete the latest single image/movie clip
1.
Rotate the mode dial to

button. When the delete message appears, use the

to delete the last image or movie clip.
If you wish to cancel the deletion, select [Cancel].
To delete image/movie clip by preference
1.

delete.

button.

Use the four-way controller (
) to select [This Image] or [Delete
All] by your preference, then press the
button.
6. When the delete message appears, use the four-way controller

) to select [OK], then press the
button to confirm the
deletion.
If you wish to cancel the deletion, select [Cancel].
Protected images cannot be deleted with the delete function.
