(p.130) The focus mode is set to k (Continuous mode) Autofocus is not locked (focus lock) when focus mode is set to k. The camera will continue focusing on the subject while the shutter release button is pressed halfway. If there is a subject that you wish to focus on, slide the focus mode lever to l and use focus lock.
