Note: When foot switch plugged in light will go out. • Connect foot switch (3) to run machine and turn off light. TRIAL SEWING 2 I • Take machine out of carton. 2 x Threaders #287824 2 x Needles (1 in machine) #2020-014 3 x Demo thread spool (on machine) INSTRUCTION SYMBOLS To simplify understanding, the following symbols are used throughout operator's manual. • Swing thread guide holder up to op erating position until two bar sym bols align. Alignment of bar symbols is extremely important to ensure smooth flow of tflread. i • Unplug toot switch. • Raise presser foot. (Push down on lever) • Turn hand wheel to raise needle. • Turn handwheel towards you. • Straighten all threads between thread spools and tension dials until thread are taut. • Check thread to make sure it is not tangled under spool or spool stand.
