2-3 Test sewing Ensure that the upper blade moves against the lower blade correctly by turning the handwheel slowly towards you. If it is not set correctly, check if there is any fabric or waste thread stuck between the blades. Check all 4 threads wind around the stitch finger of the needle plate. If all 4 threads do not wind around the stitch finger of the needle plate, check and make sure that each thread is threaded correctly. Turn the handwheel towards you while holding all 4 threads and applying slight tension. 3. Sewing 3-1 4-thread overlock stitch using 2 needles Before sewing When threading is complete, sew a few inches of chain stitches. Presser foot lift Position the fabric by lowering the presser foot lift to raise the presser foot. Place the fabric underneath the presser foot and push the fabric towards the front of the blade. Lower the presser foot. Note: For thin and middleweight fabrics, there is no need to raise the presser foot. 12

handwheel slowly towards you. If it is not set
correctly, check if there is any fabric or waste
thread stuck between the blades.
Turn the handwheel towards you while
holding all 4 threads and applying slight
tension.
3. Sewing

4-thread overlock stitch using
2 needles
Before sewing
When threading is complete, sew a few inches
of chain stitches.
Presser foot lift
Position the fabric by lowering the presser
foot lift to raise the presser foot.
Place the fabric underneath the presser foot
and push the fabric towards the front of the
blade.
Lower the presser foot.
Note:
For thin and middleweight fabrics,
there is no need to raise the presser foot.
