Recently, some record companies have started marketing music discs encoded with copyright protection technologies. Some of these music discs do not conform to the CD standard and may not be playable on this product. • A DualDisc is a two sided disc product that contains DVD recorded material on one side and digital audio material on the other side. However, since the audio material side does not conform to the Compact Disc (CD) standard, playback on this product is not guaranteed. • Do not play illegally copied discs. This may cause a malfunction or damage to the console. Region codes Some discs are assigned "region codes" for each geographic sales region. This console can play discs with the following region codes.
