THE OPTIONAL CHEST HEART RATE MONITOR Whether your goal is to burn fat or to strengthen your cardiovascular system, the key to achieving the best results is to maintain the proper heart rate during your workouts. The optional chest heart rate monitor will enable you to continuously monitor your heart rate while you exercise, helping you to reach your personal fitness goals. HOW TO ADJUST THE CUSHIONING SYSTEM The treadmill features a cushioning system that reduces the impact as you walk or run on the treadmill. For a more firm walking platform, slide the cushions towards the front of the treadmill; for a less firm walking platform, slide the cushions towards the back of the treadmill. Note: Make sure that the cushions on the left and right sides of the treadmill are set to the same firmness level.
