Proper interpretation of these symbols will allow you to operate the product better and safer. SYMBOL NAME DESIGNATION/EXPLANATION Kickback DANGER! BEWARE OF KICKBACK. Bar Nose Contact Wear Gloves Avoid bar nose contact. Tip contact may cause the guide bar to move suddenly upward and backward, which may cause serious injury. Wear non-slip, heavy-duty protective gloves when handling the chain saw.
