Setup 1. In standby mode, press the left soft key ( ) Menu, then press , for Network. The network sub menus listed in the following table appear in the display. Sub menu Set NAM Roam Option Function If your service contract has two phone lines, set the NAM option for NAM 2 to use both lines. Set to NAM 1 otherwise. Set your phone's roaming options to Home only, Automatic-A, or Automatic-B. 2. Use the navigation key to highlight the desired sub menu, then press . 3. For Set NAM, use the navigation key to highlight NAM 1 or NAM 2, then press . 4. For Roam Option, use the navigation key to highlight Home only, Automatic-A, or Automatic-B, then press . Security Use the Security menu to lock your phone, set up emergency numbers, enable or disable voice privacy, set restrictions, as well as other security options. Lock Phone Locking the phone limits all outgoing calls except calls to 911 emergency and the three user-programmable emergency numbers. You can lock the phone manually during use, or set the phone to lock automatically when it is turned on. When the phone is in Lock Mode, you can answer incoming calls, but you must unlock the phone to place outgoing calls (except to emergency and secret numbers). 1.
