Messages and Lock Mode Your phone can still receive messages while in Lock Mode. The time and date of the message appear in the display, but you cannot access the message until you enter the lock code. Managing Inbox Messages 1. From the MESSAGES menu, select Inbox. The Inbox appears in the display showing a list of received messages. 2. Highlight a message in the list. You have the following options: • To remove the highlighted message from the Inbox, press Erase. • To review the highlighted message, press OPEN. • For more options, press Options. The following options appear in the display: - Reply: Compose and send a reply message to the originator of the received message. - Reply w. Copy: Compose and send a reply message to the originator of the received text message and include a copy of the original text message. - Forward: Send a copy of this message to another recipient. 40 - Add To Contacts: Save the sender's number to your Contacts. - Extract: Allows you to extract the sender's number and URL, e-mail addresses or phone numbers from the message text, so that you can use the information. - Message Info: Shows message delivery status, addressee, size, and so on. - Manage Inbox: Choose to Erase one or more messages, to Lock one or more messages from being erased, or to Unlock one or more messages to be erased. - Sort by Sender/Time: List messages in order of Sender names, addresses, or numbers or the time the messages were received. Select an option to perform its function.

Messages and Lock Mode
Your phone can still receive messages while in Lock Mode.
The time and date of the message appear in the display,
but you cannot access the message until you enter
the lock code.
Managing Inbox Messages
1.
From the
MESSAGES
menu, select
Inbox
. The
Inbox
appears in the display showing a list of received
messages.
2.
Highlight a message in the list. You have the following
options:
To remove the highlighted message from the Inbox,
press
Erase
.
To review the highlighted message, press
OPEN
.
For more options, press
Options
. The following options appear
in the display:
Reply
: Compose and send a reply message to the originator of
the received message.
Reply w. Copy
: Compose and send a reply message to the
originator of the received text message and include a copy of the
original text message.
Forward
: Send a copy of this message to another recipient.
Add To Contacts
: Save the sender’s number to your Contacts.
Extract
: Allows you to extract the sender’s number and URL,
e-mail addresses or phone numbers from the message text, so
that you can use the information.
Message Info
: Shows message delivery status, addressee,
size, and so on.
Manage Inbox
: Choose to
Erase
one or more messages, to
Lock
one or more messages from being erased, or to
Unlock
one or more messages to be erased.
Sort by Sender
/
Time
: List messages in order of Sender
names, addresses, or numbers or the time the messages were
received.
