Tip: Press Add to display a pop-up menu containing: Contacts, Groups, and Recent Calls. These options allow you to find and add recipients to the To: list 3. Compose your message using the keypad, press Options, then select Save As Draft. "MESSAGE SAVED" appears in the display and your message is saved to the Drafts folder. View and Edit Draft Text Messages 1. From the MESSAGES menu, select Drafts. A list of draft messages appears in the display. 2. Select a message that you wish to view or edit. The NEW TEXT MESSAGE screen appears in the display. 3. If desired, enter or change the message text. 4. If desired, highlight the To: field and enter or change the recipient's number and/or e-mail address and the message text. 5. Press OK to move to the next field. 6. To complete the message text and set message send options, press Options. The following options appear in the display: • Add Preset Msg: Insert pre-composed text into your message. • Save As Draft: Save the message to your Drafts box. • Save As Preset: Save the text from this message as a Preset (pre-composed) text. • Add To Contacts: Add the recipient information for this message to your Contacts list. • Delivery: Select Enh. Delivery Ack, Priority, and/or CB# (call-back number) setting(s) for this message, and/or change or enter Signature text for this message. • Cancel Message: Close the NEW TEXT MESSAGE screen. Prompts you whether to save this message as another draft message. Select an option to perform its function. 7. When you have completed composing your message, press SEND to send it. 42
