In standby mode, touch the Dialer soft key to display the touch keypad. 2. Enter the number you wish to call. 3. Touch or the Voice Call soft key to place the call. Dialing Emergency Numbers When you call an Emergency Number, such as 911, your phone locks itself in emergency mode, only allowing you to make calls to the emergency call center you originally contacted.
