Section 9 Application Management • The volume controls adjust the sound level during playback. • Tap the mute control to toggle between mute on and off. Playlist Windows Media player allows you to configure personal playlists with your favorite music or video files. Playlists group media content and store the location of media content, whether the location is your computer, a network, or the Internet. Playlists typically have an .asx or .m3u file extension. 1. Launch the Windows Media player application. 2. Tap Menu, then Library. 3. Tap My Playlists. 4. Enter a name for the playlist and tap . 5. Tap Menu at the bottom of the screen to open a browse window. Pocket PC applications can be downloaded from the web, purchased at retail outlets, or beamed from a friend using the IR feature. Install New Applications When a new application is downloaded from the web or installed using a CD, the files are transferred to the mobile device via ActiveSync.
