Requirements for Using Motion Recognition ●● Be sure to use Motion Control within the recommended distance of between 4.9 ft (1.5 m) and 11.4 ft (3.5 m). The actual recognition range may differ with the camera angle and other factors. ●● For the recommended distance for using Motion Control with the Evolution Kit connected to your TV, refer to the your TV's user manual. ●● You must be located within a range of the camera lens, because Motion Control relies on the TV's built-in camera. Adjust the camera's angle by pressing the front of the camera down and forwards or up and back. Do not point the camera directly at the sun or any other light source or obstruct its view. ●● For the camera to recognize movement, you must stand out from the background. ●● The appropriate ambient brightness is 50 to 500 lux. (A bathroom typically has 100 Lux, a living room 400 Lux.) ●● Avoid direct sunlight when using Motion Control. ●● Run the Motion Control Environment Test to assess the camera's recognition range before using Motion Control.
