2 Tap / to select "YES", and then tap . "EMPTYING RECYCLE BIN..." appears and the RECYCLE folder is emptied. You can press the STOP button (…) to confirm that the RECYCLE folder is empty. Erasing a file You can select a file in a folder and then erase it. • If the recycle bin function is turned off ( page 152), once you erase a file, it can no longer be recovered. Therefore, before erasing a file, always check the content of the file to make sure you really do not need it any more. • Before this operation, check to make sure there is enough remaining battery power. • Regardless of whether the recycle bin function is turned on or off, files in the M folder are not moved to the RECYCLE ( ) folder, but are completely erased from the unit. • A sub folder in the M folder cannot be erased. Erasing a file
You can select a file in a folder and then erase it.
If the recycle bin function is turned off (
page 152), once you erase a file, it can no
longer be recovered. Therefore, before erasing a file, always check the content of the file
to make sure you really do not need it any more.
Before this operation, check to make sure there is enough remaining battery power.
Regardless of whether the recycle bin function is turned on or off, files in the M folder are
not moved to the RECYCLE (
) folder, but are completely erased from the unit.
A sub folder in the M folder cannot be erased. Connect the unit to your PC and then erase
the sub folder from your PC.
