Changing the Display for Area Name This feature enables you to show the state of the phone number you are calling or are called from when the number is not registered in your Contacts list. For example, a call to or from 213-555-5555 will display "California." To set your area name display: 1. Select > Settings > Display > Match Area Code. 2. Select On or Off. Note: This feature is available only when the phone number has 10 digits, or 11 digits beginning with 1, and matches an area code. The area name is displayed on the Main LCD. It will not be displayed when the number of an incoming call is saved in your Contacts list. Changing the Contrast You can adjust your screen's contrast (brightness) to suit your surroundings. To adjust the display's contrast: 1. Select > Settings > Display > Contrast. 2. Select your desired screen contrast level and press . 60 Section 2B: Controlling Your Phone's Settings
