Depending on the driver and settings used, high-resolution music files can be reproduced via the high-quality DAC (digital-to-analog converter) of the HDV 820. Notes on DSD reproduction If you are using your Mac or PC for native reproduction of DSD music files, the DSD reproduction LED on the headphone amplifier lights up, indicating the DSD mode of the DAC. Information on the possible configuration options for your Mac or PC for native reproduction of DSD music files using thirdparty software can be found on the HDV 820 product page or at www.sennheiser.com/download.
