Wild Card works by using the character "*" to represent any number of unknown characters and "?" to represent a single unknown character. For example, imagine that you have two documents named SHARP and SHIP. If you enter SH*P in the Name field, both documents will be found. If you enter SH?P, only SHIP will be found. Do not check the Wild Card check box when searching for Note documents with the characters "*" and "?" in the Author, Keyword, or Comment fields. • Logic Select And if you want to search only for documents that match all your search information.
