The emission level is insufficient to cause any health hazard. NOTE: The present recommended long term exposure limit for ozone is 0.1 ppm (0.2 mg/m3) calculated as an 8 hr. time-weighted average concentration. However, since the small amount that is emitted may have an objectionable odor, it is advisable to place the copier in a ventilated area. CAUTIONS ON HANDLING Be careful in handling the copier as follows to maintain the performance of this copier. Do not drop the copier, subject it to shock or strike it against any object. Store spare toner cartridges in a cool dry place without removing from the package before use. If they are exposed to direct sunlight or excessive heat, poor print quality may result. Do not touch the photoconductive drum (green portion). Scratches or smudges on the drum will cause dirty copies. 9
