Enhancing Your System The connection cable is not included. Purchase a commercially available cable as shown below. VCR, DVD, etc. Red White White To the line output jack Red RCA cord (not supplied) Advanced Features - Enhancing Your System - 28 BA300_P26_28 28 s Listening to the playback sounds from VCR, DVD, etc. 1 Use a connection cable to connect the VCR, DVD, etc. to the VIDEO/ AUX jacks. When using video equipment, connect the audio output to this unit and the video output to a television. 2 Press the ON/STAND-BY button to turn the power on. 3 Press the VIDEO/AUX button. 4 Play the connected equipment. Note: To prevent hum interference, place this unit away from a television. s To record on a tape 1 Insert a cassette in the TAPE 2 cassette compartment. 2 Press the VIDEO/AUX button. 3 Press the REC PAUSE I6 (I6) button. 4 Press the 0/R (TAPE 2 0) button. 5 Play the VCR, DVD, etc. s Headphones q Before plugging in or unplugging the headphones, reduce the volume. q Be sure your headphones have a 1/8" (3.5 mm) diameter plug and are between 16 ohms and 50 ohms impedance. The recommended impedance is 32 ohms. q Plugging in the headphones disconnects the speakers automatically. Adjust the volume using the VOLUME control. 01.2.13, 2:14 PM
