Basic adjustment settings Sharpness Enhancement Provides sharper images with more depth by adjusting background sharpness. NOTE • The higher the number of the level, the more sharpness and depth you will get in images. However, this may add more background noise. Automatic Contrast Adjusts black level and white level in images automatically as appropriate to a particular scene. Selected item Description On Automatically adjusts Off For normal images 3D-Y/C Provides high quality images with minimal dot crawl and cross color noise. Selected item Description Standard Fast Slow Normal adjustment For movie image For still image NOTE • 3D-Y/C is available for input signal from Composite Video and ANALOG IN. Monochrome For viewing a video in monochrome. Selected item Description Off Normal color On For viewing in monochrome Film Mode (3:2 pull-down) Automatically detects a film-based source (originally encoded at 24 frames/second), analyzes it then recreates each still film frame for high-definition picture quality. Selected item Description Off Normal viewing mode On Detects, analyzes, converts film source I/P Setting Converts input signals from interlace to progressive. NOTE • "I/P Setting" is not selectable when channel display shows an input resolution of 480P or 720P. 42
