Enhancing your system CD-SW340 The connection cord is not included. Purchase a commercially available cord as shown below. Portable audio player, etc. Auto power on function: When you press any of the following buttons, the unit turns on. AUDIO IN button (main unit and remote control): The unit turns on and the "AUDIO IN" function is activated. / button on the main unit: The unit turns on and playback of the last function starts (CD,TAPE,TUNER,AUDIO IN). TIMER To the line output jack CD 5 4 3 2 1 PLAYBACK (PLAY & STOP) PHONES AUDIO IN RECORD/PLAYBACK To record sounds of Portable Audio Player, etc. 1 Insert a cassette in the TAPE 2 cassette compartment. 2 Press the AUDIO IN button. 3 Press the button. 4 Press the / button. 5 Play the Portable Audio Player, etc. Advanced Features Audio cable (not supplied) Listening to sounds of Portable Audio Player, etc. 1 Connect a Portable Audio Player etc. to the front AUDIO IN jack. 2 Press the ON/STAND-BY button to turn the power on. 3 Press the AUDIO IN button. 4 Play the connected equipment. You can enjoy sounds from the supplied speakers. Note: To prevent noise interference, place the unit away from the television. Headphones Before plugging in or unplugging the headphones, reduce the volume. Be sure your headphones have a 1/8" (3.5 mm) diameter plug and impedance between 16 and 50 ohms. The recommended impedance is 32 ohms. Plugging in the headphones disconnects the speakers automatically. Adjust the volume using the VOLUME control. volume.

impedance between 16 and 50 ohms. The recommended
impedance is 32 ohms.

headphones
disconnects
the
speakers
automatically. Adjust the volume using the VOLUME control.
