THE DVD HANDYCAM CONCEPT Playback Compatibility The DVD Handycam camcorder recording system is based on international DVD standards, so DVD Handycam recordings can be played back on a vast universe of playback devices -- including most DVD players, personal computers with DVD drives, and PlayStation 2 video game consoles.
