Recording - Basics Recording a picture Shooting backlit subjects - BACK LIGHT When you shoot a subject with the light source behind the subject or a subject with a light background, use the backlight function. Set the POWER switch to CAMERA or MEMORY, press BACK LIGHT. The . indicator appears on the screen. To cancel, press BACK LIGHT again. Shooting in the dark - NightShot/Super NightShot The NightShot function enables you to shoot a subject in a dark place. For example, you can satisfactorily record the environment of nocturnal animals for observation when you use this function. Set the POWER switch to CAMERA or MEMORY, slide NIGHTSHOT to ON. and "NIGHTSHOT" indicators flash on the screen. To cancel the NightShot function, slide NIGHTSHOT to OFF. Shooting backlit subjects
BACK LIGHT
When you shoot a subject with the light source behind the subject or a subject with a
light background, use the backlight function.
Set the POWER switch to CAMERA or MEMORY, press BACK LIGHT.
The

If you press EXPOSURE when shooting backlit subjects
The backlight function will be canceled.
Shooting in the dark
NightShot/Super NightShot
The NightShot function enables you to shoot a subject in a dark place. For example, you
can satisfactorily record the environment of nocturnal animals for observation when
you use this function.
Set the POWER switch to CAMERA or MEMORY, slide NIGHTSHOT to ON.
and “NIGHTSHOT” indicators flash on the screen. To cancel the NightShot function,
slide NIGHTSHOT to OFF.
