Locating a specific CD SCAN SEARCH ENTER FUNCTION Note The Disc Memo stores the number of the slot in which the CD was inserted. Re-enter the Disc Memo when inserting a new CD into that slot. To erase a Disc Memo 1 Follow steps 1 through 3 of "Labeling a CD" on page 29 to select the Disc Memo you want to erase. 2 Press CLEAR. The Disc Memo disappears. 3 Press ENTER. To erase all Disc Memos of all discs When you perform the following operation, the program created for Program Play is also erased at the same time. While holding down INPUT, press ENTER. "ALL ERASE" appears in the display, and all Disc Memos and the program will be erased. Tips • When you replace a disc with a CD-TEXT disc, the Disc Memo of the CD-TEXT disc is restored automatically. The Disc Memo for the CD-TEXT disc is no longer stored (disappears) each time the CD is removed. Note that you cannot change the Disc Memo of a CD-TEXT disc. • You can label discs while the front cover is open. You can locate a disc you want to play quickly by
scanning the Disc Memos (see page 29) in the
display and starting playback.
Note that you cannot use this function in ALL
DISCS Shuffle Play.
