Table of Contents Enjoy Useful Functions USB LUN Setting Improves compatibility with external devices by limiting the functions of the USB connection. Multi Use this setting for ordinary operations. Single Try this setting only if you cannot connect to an external device. Notes When you use "PMB Portable" to upload images to a service on the Internet, make sure to set [USB LUN Setting] to [Multi]. Disc Burn See page 57. Beep On A melody sounds when you start/stop recording, or operate the touch panel. Off Cancels the melody. LCD Brightness You can adjust the brightness of the LCD screen. Normal Normal setting (normal brightness). Bright Select this when the LCD screen is not bright enough. Your Location (HDR-CX560V/ CX700V) See page 49. GPS Setting (HDR-CX560V/ CX700V) You can select whether the camcorder receives or does not receive GPS signals (p. 47). On Receives GPS signals. Off Does not receive GPS signals. Notes If you set [GPS Setting] to [Off], the location information that has previously been recorded will be invalid. The location information will not be recorded until triangulating is finished successfully after you switch the [GPS Setting] to [On]. REC Lamp (Recording lamp) You can make the camera recording lamp on the front of your camcorder not to turn on. On The camera recording lamp lights up. Off The camera recording lamp does not light up. Index Tips This adjustment does not affect the recorded images in any way. US 94
