Copying Music Files from Your Computer to the IC Recorder and Playing Them Back Utilizing Your Computer You can copy music or other audio files (MP3/WMA/AAC-LC*) from your computer to the IC recorder by dragging and dropping them, and you can then play them back on the IC recorder. You can make an MP3/WMA/AAC-LC file using a software application, etc., installed on your computer. * For the file formats that can be played back using the IC recorder, see "Specifications" (page 86). Copying a music file from your computer to the IC recorder (drag and drop) 1 Connect the IC recorder to your computer (page 71). 2 Copy the folder in which the music files are stored to the IC recorder. On the Windows screen using Explorer, and on the Macintosh screen using Finder, drag and drop the folder onto the IC recorder. The IC recorder can recognize up to 500 folders. You can copy up to 999 files to one folder and up to 5,000 files in total. 3 Disconnect the IC recorder from your computer (page 81). 4 Press . 5 Press v or V on the control button to select the folder ( ) in which music files are stored, and then press > on the control button. 75GB

You can copy music or other audio files

computer to the IC recorder by dragging
