Picture Settings Using TV Settings Picture Adjustments Picture Mode Vivid For enhanced picture contrast and sharpness. Photo-Vivid* For enhancing contrast and sharpness. Standard For standard picture settings. Recommended for home entertainment. Photo-Standard* For standard viewing; select for home use. Cinema For viewing film-based content. Color Increases or decreases color intensity. Hue Increases or decreases the green tones. Color Cool Temperature Neutral White adjustment Warm 1, 2 Gives the white colors a bluish tint. Gives the white colors a neutral tint. Gives the white colors a reddish tint. ~ • The option Warm 1, 2 is not available for Vivid and Photo-Vivid. Sharpness Sharpens or softens the picture. Noise Reduction Reduces the picture noise level. MPEG Noise Reduces the mosaic effect in MPEG-compressed video. Useful for Reduction DVDs, Blu-ray and digital TV channels. DRC Mode for KDL-46/ 55XBR8, KDL70XBR7 Produces a high-resolution picture for high-density sources (e.g., Bluray Disc Player, DVD Player, satellite receiver). Mode 1 Recommended mode. Mode 2 Only available for 1080i format. Mode 2 is especially effective when original standard-definition signals have been up-converted to 1080i format.
