When away from your computer, you can charge the battery from a wall outlet using the supplied AC power adaptor** and USB cable.  Connect the USB cable and AC power cord in the following order from  to . The actual charging time will differ, depending upon the initial amount of charge in the battery and the condition of the battery. For example, if the battery is already almost fully charged when charging begins, little time is needed to reach a full charge. Charging batteries in a cold environment takes longer than at typical room temperature. **Depending on your country/region, an AC power adaptor and AC cord may not be supplied with the player. Charging the Battery Using the AC
