Playing Discs Listening to a CD Using a Filter (Digital Filter Function) This player is equipped with a digital filter that eliminates noise generated during sampling. By selecting type of filters, you can adjust the sound quality. You can select "STANDARD" or "OPTION." (The default setting is "STANDARD.") When the i.LINK indicator is lit This function is not available. MENU .AMS> Setting the DIGITAL OUT on/ off You can set the digital out mode to on (the digital signals can be output) or off (the digital signals cannot be output). When you use the DIGITAL (CD) OUT COAXIAL or DIGITAL (CD) OUT OPTICAL connecter, set the digital mode to on ("D.OUT ON"). (The default setting is "D.OUT ON.") Notes • Digital filters are effective only when you play a conventional CD. You cannot select the digital filter when you play a Super Audio CD. • According to the disc or connected equipment, there may be no noticeable effect after switching the filter. 1 Press MENU. 2 Turn .
