Adjusting the speaker levels (TEST TONE) You can adjust the speaker levels while listening to the test tone from your listening position. Note Depending on the speaker pattern setting, test tone may not be output from all speakers even though you select "AUTO xxx". 5 Adjust the speaker levels using the LEVEL menu so that the level of the test tone sounds the same from each speaker. For details, see LEVEL menu (page 59). Tips • To adjust the level of all speakers at the same time, press MASTER VOL +/- (RM-AAU071 only) or 2 +/- (RM-AAU074 only). You can also use MASTER VOLUME on the receiver. • The adjusted value are shown on the display during adjustment. 6 Repeat steps 1 to 4 to select "OFF". You can also press any input buttons. The test tone turns off. When a test tone is not output from the speakers • The speaker cords may not be connected securely. • The speaker cords may have the short-circuit problem. When a test tone is output from a different speaker than the speaker indicator showed in the display The speaker pattern to the connected speaker is not set up correctly. Tips
• To adjust the level of all speakers at the same

(RM-AAU071 only) or
