4 Read the license agreement. If you agree to the stated terms, select the option I accept the terms of the license agreement, and then click Next. At this point, the install program checks the host computer for the required operating system program/utilities and one of the following three events occur. Event 1 • If Microsoft® Windows® XP Media Center Edition 2005 is not detected on the host computer the following dialog box appears. If this screen appears, the Sony® Software CD cannot be installed on your computer. The operating system on your computer must be updated to Microsoft® Windows® XP Media Center Edition 2005. Click Finish to exit the installation program. Once you have updated your operating system, begin the Sony® Software CD installation again. VGP-XL1B User Guide 13
