5 IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not expose the blower to rain, water or excessive moisture. Store it indoors. If it is exposed to rain or very damp conditions, take it to your authorized STIHL servicing dealer before further operation, @ 5.6. To reduce the risk of personal injury or property damage from fire or electric shock, keep the charger dry. Protect it from rain, water, liquids and damp conditions. Never expose it to fire or incinerate, @ 6. To reduce the risk of personal injury or property damage from a short circuit, fire or explosion, keep the battery dry. Protect it from rain, water, liquids and damp conditions. Never immerse the battery in water or other liquids, @ 6. Additional important warnings and instructions are provided in subsequent chapters of this manual. 5.2 Intended Use WARNING ■ This blower is designed for blowing leaves, grass, and similar lightweight material from yards, gardens, sidewalks, driveways, decks, patios and comparable surfaces in the manner and in the conditions described in this manual.
