English 11 12 Models with Loop Handle A 2 A 2 1 4 3 0000-GXX-1682-A0 0000-GXX-1680-A0 0000-GXX-1850-A0 Once the end of the drive tube is inserted beyond the slot in the clamp (12): N Push the gearbox (11) fully home as far as stop. N Tighten down the clamp screws moderately. N Line up the gearbox (11) with the powerhead. N Tighten down the clamp screws firmly. N Loosen the screws on the loop handle. N Align the loop handle (2) and move it to the most comfortable position. Distance A must not be more than A = 20 cm. N Tighten down the screws on the loop handle. Fitting the Carrying Ring N Mount the carrying ring (1) about 5 cm (A) forward of the control handle (2). N Push the carrying ring (1) over the drive tube. N Insert the M5 nut (3) in the hex recess in the carrying ring. N Fit the M5x14 screw (4). N Line up the carrying ring. N Tighten down the screw firmly. A carrying ring is necessary if the power tool is to be used with a shoulder strap/harness. Not all versions of basic power tools are equipped with a carrying ring. The carrying ring is available as a special accessory and is mounted as described below. 12 FH
