A used cap may not be reused, as they are damaged when pulled off. . Place the new limiter cap (1) for the H screw aligned on the stop knob (arrow) a . Turn the high speed screw (H) anticlockwise as far as possible (max. 3/4 turn). . Turn the low speed screw (L) clockwise - until firmly seated - then back off 1 turn. 4.3 Accelerator pump 256TI027 KN . Press on limiter cap until it snaps into place Do not press on the limiter cap until it contacts the carburetor housing since it would become damaged: Minimum distance a = 1 mm The carburetor is equipped with an accelerator pump. The pump piston (1) is located in the cylinder bore (a) behind the throttle shaft (3) and is held in the idle position by a compression spring (2). Standard setting with limiter cap
The limiter cap must not be removed when making
the standard setting.

firmly seated – then back off 1 turn.
