Do not dismantle the filter cover or fit a new air filter unless there is a noticeable loss of engine power. In the long-life air filter system with the cyclone pre-separation system, dirty air is drawn in and deliberately rotated. The larger and heavier particles carried in the air are thus expelled and extracted. Only pre-cleaned air enters the air filter system and the result is extremely long filter life.
