DA-6400/DA-6400dp Lock function added to prevent mark setting A lock function has been added to enable the prevention of mark setting. Setting the lock function This setting is made with the MARK SET LOCKOUT item added to the LOCK SETUP screen. NOTE i If the MARK SET LOCKOUT item is set to Enable, the following pop-up message will appear if setting a lock mark is attempted. i If you do not want the above pop-up message or the mark setting pop-up message to be shown, set the PREFERENCES 2 menu page MARK SET/LOCKED POPUP item to OFF. MARK SET LOCKOUT This can be used to lock mark setting. Set this to "Enable" to prevent adding marks to a completed take, for example. Option Meaning Disable (default) This disables locking of mark setting. Enable This locks mark setting. Function added to turn on/off pop-up message display when setting marks and mark setting is locked A function has been added to turn on/off pop-up message display when setting marks and when setting marks is locked. Pop-up message on/off setting This setting is made with the MARK SET/LOCKED POPUP item added to the PREFERENCES 2 menu page. POPUP MODE A function has been added to turn on/off the "Mark point set" and "MARK SET Locked" pop-up messages shown when setting mark points and when mark setting is locked. Option ON (default) OFF Meaning These pop-up messages will be shown. These pop-up messages will not be shown. NOTE The following pop-up messages related to mark setting errors will always be shown regardless of this setting. • Pop-up that appears when a new mark cannot be set because one already exists at the same time Cannot create new mark point. Mark point already exists at the same timestamp. • Pop-up that appears when a new mark cannot be set because the maximum number of marks has already been set Cannot set Mark point. A lock function has been added to enable the prevention of mark setting.
Setting the lock function
This setting is made with the
MARK SET LOCKOUT
item added
to the
LOCK SETUP
screen.
MARK SET LOCKOUT
This can be used to lock mark setting.
Set this to “Enable” to prevent adding marks to a completed
take, for example.
