DA-6400/DA-6400dp ABS time display mode added An "ABS" time display mode that shows the elapsed time from the beginning of the audio file has been added. Time display mode Meaning During playback, the elapsed time from the beginning of the playback area of the playing take/entry is shown. When recording, the elapsed time from the beginning of the file being recorded is shown. During playback, the remaining time until the end of the playback area of the playing take/entry is shown. When recording, the remaining time until the maximum file size is reached is shown. During playback, the total time of the playback subject is shown. When recording, the total time of existing takes/entries plus the elapsed recording time is shown. During playback, this shows the total remaining time of the playback subject. When recording, this shows the remaining available recording time. This shows the timecode time of the recording/playback take. During recording and playback, this shows the elapsed time from the beginning of the audio file. NOTE i In playlist mode, when the time display mode is normal (no indicator) for an entry that has had its START POINT (playback area beginning) changed, the time counter will show the elapsed time from the start of the entry (playback area beginning). When the time display mode is ABS, the time counter shows the elapsed time from the start of the take assigned to the entry (audio file beginning). It does not show the elapsed time from the start of the entry (playback area beginning). ABS time display mode added
An “ABS” time display mode that shows the elapsed time from the beginning of the audio file has been added.
Time display mode
Meaning
During playback, the elapsed time from the beginning of the playback area of the playing take/entry is shown.
When recording, the elapsed time from the beginning of the file being recorded is shown.
During playback, the remaining time until the end of the playback area of the playing take/entry is shown. When
recording, the remaining time until the maximum file size is reached is shown.
During playback, the total time of the playback subject is shown. When recording, the total time of existing
takes/entries plus the elapsed recording time is shown.
During playback, this shows the total remaining time of the playback subject. When recording, this shows the
remaining available recording time.
This shows the timecode time of the recording/playback take.
During recording and playback, this shows the elapsed time from the beginning of the audio file.

In playlist mode, when the time display mode is normal (no indicator) for an entry that has had its START POINT (playback area
beginning) changed, the time counter will show the elapsed time from the start of the entry (playback area beginning).
When the time display mode is ABS, the time counter shows the elapsed time from the start of the take assigned to the entry (audio
file beginning). It does not show the elapsed time from the start of the entry (playback area beginning).
Example: time counter display at beginning of entry with START POINT set to “00h00m10s00f”
