Listening to an iPod 1 Press the CD/USB button to select "USB." Playback CD USB Playback from selected track/file 1 Press the Skip/search buttons (.m/,/) to select a track/file, or use the numeric buttons to input the track/file number. 2 Connect your iPod using the USB cable supplied with the iPod. The iPod automatically turns on and starts playback from the iPod music list. < If the display mode is set to "Extended mode" (see page 22), playback don't start automatically. For example, to select track/file number 25, press "2" first then "5". To select numbers less than 10, press "0" and then the number. As an example, to select number 5, press "0" then "5". (Optionally, you may press just the number "5" and wait for a few seconds.) 2 Press the Play button (y) . When the iPod is connected while CD-P650 is set to another source, the iPod will turn on and enter the pause mode. < The iPod battery will be fully recharged when the iPod is docked and CD-P650 is turned on. < While the iPod is connected to CD-P650, the headphones jack of the iPod can not output the sound. If you want to listen to the sound from your headphones, connect your headphones to CD-P650's PHONES jack. Playback starts from the selected track/file. 14

Connect your iPod using the USB cable supplied with the
iPod.
The iPod automatically turns on and starts playback from the iPod
music list.

When the iPod is connected while CD-P650 is set to another
source, the iPod will turn on and enter the pause mode.
