Setting the Clock When you connect the power cord into the wall socket and turn on the unit for the first time, set the clock. 4 Press the CLOCK button. 1 If the unit is on, press the STANDBY/ON button to put it in the standby mode. 2 Press the CLOCK button. The "minute" value starts blinking. 5 Press the Volume (+ or -) button to set the current minute. 6 Press the CLOCK button. < If "- -:- -" blinks on the display, press the CLOCK button again. "Clock Set" appears on the display, and the "hour" value starts blinking. < When no button is pressed for 10 seconds, the time setting mode will be cancelled. 3 Press the Volume (+ or -) button to set the current hour. The clock starts. After the clock is set, also set the settings of the unit using the SETUP menu (page 33). 19

Setting the Clock
When you connect the power cord into the wall socket and turn on
the unit for the first time, set the clock.

If the unit is on, press the STANDBY/ON button to put it in
the standby mode.

Press the CLOCK button.

If “- -:- -” blinks on the display, press the CLOCK button again.
“Clock Set” appears on the display, and the “hour” value starts
blinking.

When no button is pressed for 10 seconds, the time setting
mode will be cancelled.

Press the Volume (+ or –) button to set the current hour.

Press the CLOCK button.
The “minute” value starts blinking.

Press the Volume (+ or –) button to set the current
minute.

Press the CLOCK button.
The clock starts.
After the clock is set, also set the settings of the unit using the
SETUP menu (page 33).
