ENGLISH 0 0 Playing records 1 Press the STANDBY/ON button on the back of the unit to turn it on. 2 Open the turntable cover slowly. VV Be careful not to pinch your hand, for example, when opening and closing the turntable cover. 3 Raise the cartridge protector. 3 4 3 4 Basic operation 5 Set the RPM according to the record and start the turntable. The rotation speed can be set to 33 1/3 or 45 RPM. 6 Raise the arm lifter. 1 2 Arm lifter Tone arm oo You can also move the tone arm to above the record without raising the arm lifter and then slowly lower the tone arm to start playback. 7 Move the tone arm to the edge of the record or the track where you want to start playback. 8 Lower the arm lifter. Lower the tone arm slowly until the stylus touches the record and playback begins. oo We recommend that you close the turntable cover during record playback to avoid dust. VV Do not place anything on top of the turntable cover. CAUTION oo During playback, do not touch the tone arm or the rotating record. oo Do not stop turntable rotation during playback. During record playback, feedback could occur if the volume is too loud. If this happens, lower the volume of the amplifier. When playback finishes 1 Raise the arm lifter to separate the needle from the record, and return the tone arm to its original position. 1 2 Arm lifter Tone arm 2 Turn the rotation speed setting knob to 0 to stop the turntable. When playback finishes

needle from the record, and return the
tone arm to its original position.
