To set the off timer: 1. Press MENU. 2. Press x or • to highlight the SETUP menu. 3. Press y or z to highlight TIMER. 4. Press • to increase (or x to decrease) the amount of time until the TV turns off automatically (in 10-minute increments, to a maximum of 180). 5. Press EXIT to exit the menu and return to normal TV viewing. Auto power off The TV turns itself off automatically after approximately 15 minutes if it is tuned to a vacant channel or a station that stops broadcasting for the day.
