INTRODUCTION Introduction Pointing Device Built-in A Touch Pad/Dual Mode Pad and control buttons in the palm rest enable control of the on-screen pointer. Power Battery pack RTC battery AC adaptor The computer is powered by one rechargeable lithiumion battery pack. The internal RTC battery backs up the Real Time Clock (RTC) and calendar. The universal AC adaptor provides power to the system and recharges the batteries when they are low. It comes with a detachable power cord. Because it is universal, it can receive a range of AC voltage between 100 and 240 volts. Ports Headphone Microphone External monitor Universal Serial Bus (USB2.0) i.LINK™ (IEEE 1394) Video Out Jack HDMI Enables connection of a stereo headphone. Enables connection of a monaural microphone. 15-pin, analog VGA port supports VESA DDC2B compatible functions. Four Universal Serial Bus (USB) enables chain connection of a number of USB-equipped devices to one port on your computer. This port enables high-speed data transfer directly from external devices such as digital video camera.(Provided with some models.) This S-Video out port lets you transfer NTSC or PAL data to external devices. This HDMI jack lets you connect external devices. (Provided with some models) 1-8 User's Manual
