3.30 SETUP 3 Tests and Diagnostics NOTE: If these selections ((*1) or (*2)) are made, you cannot warm boot the system by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Del. (c) Parallel Port Mode Use this option to set information of Parallel Port Mode. ECP Std. Bi-Direct. Sets the port mode to Extended Capabilities Port (ECP). For most printers, the port should be set to ECP. (Default) Sets the bi-directional setting. This setting should be used with some other parallel devices. NOTE: When using Windows, the setting of "Toshiba HW setup" is enabled and the setting of "Parallel Port Mode" is disabled. 15. Legacy Emulation. (a) USB KB/Mouse Legacy Emulation. Use this option to enable or disable USB KB/Mouse Legacy Emulation. If your operating system does not support USB, you can still use a USB mouse and keyboard by setting the USB KB/Mouse Legacy Emulation item to Enabled. Enabled USB Legacy Support can be used. (Default) Disabled USB Legacy Support cannot be used. (b) USB-FDD Legacy Emulation. Use this option to enable or disable USB-FDD Legacy Emulation. Enabled USB Legacy Support can be used. (Default) Disabled USB Legacy Support cannot be used. (c) USB Memory BIOS Support Type Sets the type of the USB memory as a startup device. HDD Set the type of the USB memory to be equivalent to the HDD (Default). Based on the [HDD] order in the [Boot Priority Options] item. The order with respect to the other HDD can be set in the [HDD Priority Options] item. FDD Set the type of the USB memory to be equivalent to the FDD.
