2 Troubleshooting Procedures 2.3 Power Supply Troubleshooting Procedure 5 Replacement Check The system board processor module may be disconnected or damaged. Disassemble the computer following the steps described in Chapter 4, Replacement Procedures. Check the connection between the AC adaptor and system board and connection. After checking the connections, perform the following Check 1: When AC adapter is connected: Check 1 AC adapter may be faulty. Replace the AC adapter with a new one. If the problem still occurs, perform Check 2. Check 2 System board may be faulty. Replace the system board with a new one. When AC adapter is not connected: (When driving with battery pack) Check 1 Battery pack may be faulty. Replace it with a new one. If the problem still occurs, perform Check 2.
