4.16 Sound board 4 Replacement Procedures 4.16 Sound board Removing the Sound board To remove the sound board, follow the steps below and refer to figure 4-31 and 4-32. 1. Disconnect the sound board flexible cable from the connector PJ9510 on the sound board and the connector PJ9500 on the system board. 2. Peel off the glass tape and disconnect the sound board cable from the connector PJ9511 on the sound board and the connector PJ9501 on the system board. 3. Remove the sound board by lifting it up. Removing the Sound board
To remove the sound board, follow the steps below and refer to figure 4-31 and 4-32.
1.
Disconnect the
sound board flexible cable
from the connector
PJ9510
on the sound
board and the connector
PJ9500
on the system board.
2.
Peel off the
glass tape
and disconnect the
sound board cable
from the connector
PJ9511
on the sound board and the connector
PJ9501
on the system board.
3.
Remove the
sound board
by lifting it up.
