2.7 Keyboard and Touch pad Troubleshooting 2 Troubleshooting Procedures Check 5 Make sure the cable of the sensor/switch board is firmly connected to PJ9600 on the system board, and the sensor/switch board cable is connected to PJ9610 on the sensor/switch board. If the connection is loose, reconnect firmly and repeat Procedure 1. If there is still an error, go to Check 6. Check 6 The sensor/switch board may be damaged. Replace it with a new one following the instructions in Chapter 4, Replacement Procedures. If there is still an error, go to Check 7. Check 7 The system board may be damaged. Make sure the cable of the sensor/switch board is firmly connected to PJ9600 on
the system board, and the sensor/switch board cable is connected to PJ9610 on the
sensor/switch board.
If the connection is loose, reconnect firmly and repeat Procedure 1. If there is still
an error, go to Check 6.

The sensor/switch board may be damaged. Replace it with a new one following
the instructions in Chapter 4,
