3. System Configuration 3.2.3 Name the System Select System: Administration. Enter a System Name and System Description for the console server to give it a unique ID and make it simple to identify. Note: The System Name can contain from 1 to 64 alphanumeric characters (you can also use the special characters "-" "_" and "."). There are no restrictions on the characters that can be used in the System Description (which can contain up to 254 characters). The MOTD Banner can be used to display a "message of the day" text to users. Click Apply. Note: If you are unsure whether your console server is operating with the most current firmware version, Firmware Upgrades are available. Refer to 11.2 Upgrade Firmware for more information. 15
