THE INTEGRATED ANSWERING DEVICE Reviewing Messages using Handset 1) With the phone in standby mode, press the remote key on the handset. The talk/batt low LED flashes and turns on. The answering system announces the current time and the number of messages stored in the memory. 2) You hear "To play incoming message, press two. For help, press zero." You hear intermittent beeps. 3) Press the /2 key and you can review your messages. When you are finished, hang up to exit the system. Repeating a Message 1) With the phone in standby mode, press the (play/stop) key to review your messages. The number of stored messages are announced. 2) To repeat the current message, press the (repeat/rew) key after a few seconds of beginning the message. To quickly scroll backwards through a message, press and hold the (repeat/rew) key. To repeat the previous message, press the (repeat/rew) key within a few seconds (about 4 seconds during remote operation) after a message begins playing. If you have several messages, press the (repeat/rew) key repeatedly until you return to the message you want to replay. Reviewing Messages using Handset
